The End of the Year, Not the Mercy
"O give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his mercy endures forever." (Psalm 136:1)
As we approach the final Sunday of the Year of Mercy I couldn't help but pause for a moment and reflect on how the Lord has touched our lives this past year and poured out His abundant mercy on us all. In truth, my first thought was "Wow. Where on earth has this year gone?" My second thought was "Well, now what?"
The answer? It could not be more simple... We continue to seek His mercy. Yes, you may have to walk through an ordinary door, but the confessional will still always be on the other side.
Nonetheless, knowing that it is particularly difficult, especially for young people, we've been scheming on how to soften the blow as the curtain falls on this extraordinary year. We have been working hard behind the scenes to update our website and also strengthen our team in order to provide regular, engaging and fulfilling articles to help us nourish our faith.
This exciting new chapter kicks off this Monday with a whole host of new blog posts from a variety of contributors where we'll be exploring upcoming liturgical seasons, big feasts and solemnities and the heavy-hitter saints that punctuate our liturgical year.
